Just wanted to update y'all! Thank you for all the concerned messages, it's been crazy prepping to evac! BREAKING NEW DATA from NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center suggests a dangerous shift WEST so now both west coast (where we live) & east coast are equally vulnerable to the nastiest parts! It's going to move directly up the middle of Florida (as well as models can predict, it's not like Irma filed a flight plan!!), it's stronger than KATRINA or Hurricane Andrew that devastatingly hit FL in the 1990s! ALL of Florida will be impacted! Glad we are leaving in the morning to drive to Orlando then flight out to NY and then hub's airline wants him to fly an empty plane (with me and the crew only on board) to ..?? somewhere the company hasn't decided yet.. We will keep you updated... this thing is a monster, unlike any hurricane ever, it's going to be catastrophic ! EEEKKKK Our area has been issued a MANDATORY evacuation order for #PinellasCounty so we are OUT OF HERE ASAP in the morning!!!!!!
